Dove le lacrime aspettano is a 20-minute Italian short film directed by Caterina Bertini and Blu Diego Fasoli. It follows three siblings who, after being locked out of their home, are forced to spend the night facing the darkness, the unknown, and above all, their own imagination. In 2026, the film was selected in competition for SIC@SIC at the Venice International Critics’ Week. I worked on the communication of the short film, creating the title screen and poster while developing an editorial imagery that could translate the emotional atmosphere of the short film into a visual language. The project focused on capturing the film’s feelings of childhood, vulnerability, intimacy, and uncertainty, creating a visual identity that could evoke its atmosphere beyond the film itself.
